Renee
Coutu [Douglas-Johnson] comes to Sarnia from Toronto with an
extensive dance background.
She started dancing at the age
of seven and studied a range of different dance
styles, over the last 25
years such as Tap,
Hip Hop, Salsa, Jazz, Ballet, Break Dance, African
and Yoga . She also appeared on television
talent shows like Star Search and videos for
Canadian Artist Julie Black.
Renee's traveled across North
America performing in theatre productions,
competitions and
choreographing plays for the
Black Theatre Workshop in Montreal. She also
choreographed concerts for Canadian
artists Ricky-J and Tara Chase. For the past 18
years Renee has taught at various dance
Studios in Montreal, Toronto and Fliigilrl's Dance
Studio here in Sarnia and now at Elite Dance
Academy.
